Anusha Pai Asnodkar, a former OSU astronomy graduate student, has been awarded the 2026 Cecilia Payne Gaposchkin Doctoral Dissertation Award in Astrophysics from the American Physical Society. The award, established in 2013 by Division of Astrophysics (DAP) and renamed in 2018 for Cecilia Payne Gaposchkin, recognizes doctoral thesis in research in astrophysics, and encourages effective written and oral presentation of research results.
