Ohio State's first Ph.D. in Astronomy was awarded in 1955 to Dr. William Protheroe. Prior to that OSU only had a Master's program. For each Ph.D. recipient, we list the dissertation title, their advisor, and their current (or last) professional position (where known to us). Starting with 1997 graduates, we also list the first post-graduate position they held (where none is listed, their current position is their first post-grad position).
Dissertations from 2002 forward are available in electronic form through the OhioLink Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Center website.
