The Department of Astronomy is host to a number of student organizations where you can get involved at an undergraduate or graduate level. These include:

 

Additionally, there are several astrophysics and joint physics/astronomy organizations based in the Department of Physics, including:

  • Society of Physics Students (SPS) / Sigma Pi Sigma Honor Society
  • The Quantum Club
  • Momentum Mentorship Program
  • National Society of Black and Hispanic Physicists (NSBP/NSHP)
  • Optica Student Chapter
  • Random Interactions
  • Women and Gender Minorities in Physics (WAGMiP)

 

And there are also several broader STEM-related organizations in which Astro students are often involved:
