Dustin Nguyen Wins 1st at Hayes Graduate Research Forum

OSU Physics and CCAPP graduate student Dustin Nguyen won 1st-place in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences category for his oral presentation at the 36th Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum on Friday, March 4th, 2022. Dustin presented his ongoing research with Todd Thompson on the physics of hot galactic winds and their X-ray emission. Congratulations Dustin!

The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum showcases the innovative and exemplary research being conducted by Ohio State graduate students and postdoctoral scholars across the full range of graduate degree programs and research topics and facilitates fruitful exchanges between students, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, the administration, and the public. The Forum is co-sponsored by the Council of Graduate Students, the Graduate School, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and the Enterprise for Research, Innovation, and Knowledge with organizational and operational support from the Office of Student Life.
