The DEI committee would like to welcome everyone back with our first Diversity Journal Club (DJC) of the semester! For our newer members of the department, DJC is a space to discuss current social issues in relation to Astronomy, Physics, and STEM as a whole in academia and beyond.
DJC will continue to be held every other week on Thursdays at 12:30pm in McPherson 4054, where we will have a DEI topic to discuss each session. If you have a topic you would like to talk about with the group, don't hesitate to reach out to any member of the DEI committee -- we welcome suggestions from everyone!
