Diversity Journal Club this Thursday will be devoted to equity in the graduate admissions process. Both Adam Leroy and Becca McClain attended an AAS workshop on Equity in Graduate Admissions in late February. Becca will present the highlights from that workshop and Adam will discuss our admissions process and how it connects with the data and research presented in that workshop.
Our last DJC was devoted to further discussion of department DEI priorities, which we will use to construct a DEI strategic plan for the department. Here is a link to our slides:

The slides summarize past/in-progress actions, the results of our group brainstorming of planned/desired actions, and the results of a poll we had on priorities.
