Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

The 12-14 credit hour Planetary Science Certificate (PlanetS-CT) will prepare undergraduate students to continue in the field of planetary science or planetary exploration. The certificate is designed to enhance both critical thinking and the technical skills necessary for practicing planetary science. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program to complete the certificate.

For all students who are Astronomy and Astrophysics majors or minors, the Planetary Science Certificate can potentially be completed with only two additional courses.
