Congratulations to Professor Scott Gaudi, who has won the Alumni Medalist Award!

The Alumni Medalist Award is the highest honor afforded by The Ohio State University Alumni Association. It’s presented to alumni who have gained national or international distinction in their chosen field or profession — those advocates who have brought extraordinary credit to the university and significant benefit to humankind.

Professor Gaudi received his Ph.D. in Astronomy from Ohio State in 2000. He has been a member of the faculty since 2006, and he is presently the Thomas Jefferson Professor for Discovery and Space Exploration. Some of his other recognitions include the Helen B. Warner Prize of the American Astronomical Society, NSF CAREER and PECASE awards, and he is a University Distinguished Scholar.
