Dr. Yuan-Sen Ting will join OSU Astronomy as an Associate Professor in August 2024

We are excited to announce that Dr. Yuan-Sen Ting will join OSU Astronomy as an Associate Professor in August 2024. Dr. Ting is one of the world's leading young researchers at the interface of astrophysics and artificial intelligence, applying advanced computational and statistical methods to the study of stars, the Milky Way, external galaxies, and cosmology. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2017 and held postdoctoral positions, including a NASA Hubble Fellowship, at Carnegie Observatories, Princeton University, and the Institute for Advanced Study. Since 2021, he has been a faculty member in astronomy and computer science at Australian National University.
