The Ohio State University’s West Campus Science & Sustainability Festival, better known as WestFest, is an annual public engagement event that highlights STEM research, sustainability initiatives, and outreach programs at The Ohio State University and beyond. Typically an in-person event, WestFest brings together STEM units from across campus and select community partners to present family-friendly activities and host facility tours that highlight the research infrastructure located on Ohio State’s West Campus. The event is organized through the volunteer efforts of the WestFest Planning Committee.
Planning for this year’s event is underway. Though we were hoping to return to an in-person event, we have opted to keep WestFest virtual for 2021. We are excited to bring together partners from The Ohio State University and the Central Ohio community to offer a six-day virtual science and sustainability festival.
WestFest 2021 will run from Monday, October 11th through Saturday, October 16th. The list of partners and schedule of events is currently under construction and will be posted here once complete.
Live captioning will be provided for all virtual WestFest events. If you require additional accommodations, such as interpretation, to participate in this event please contact us at email@example.com. Requests made two weeks in advance of the program of interest will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
