One of our recent undergraduate alums, Caitlin O’Brien, working with two other undergraduates, Bella Roberts and Jacob Griffith, were selected last year for the President’s Buckeye Accelerator Award. Their project, called Solstice Outreach uses a portable planetarium to bring the excitement of science to underserved communities like kids in underresourced schools. For the COSI Science Festival, as a one-time thing, they will set up in the Physics Research Building atrium to show us what they’re doing.
This is a great opportunity to bring kids or just anyone curious, plus learn about opportunities to get involved in future events.
Date Time Location
6–8pm, Thursday 2 May, atrium of the Physics Research Building. To find out more about the COSI Science Festival click here.
