We invite you to the Arne Slettebak Planetarium on the 5th floor of Smith Lab for a planetarium demonstration and an info session on two General Education themes with strong Astronomy connections: Origins and Evolution and Number, Nature, Mind. There will be two  1-hour sessions offered:

  • Wednesday, Oct 11 at 2:00 pm
  • Tuesday, October 17 at 10:00 am

The planetarium demonstration will illustrate the capabilities of OSU's state-of-the-art Arne Slettebak planetarium, which the astronomy department frequently uses in our undergraduate teaching. For each theme, we will describe approved, in-process, and planned courses and how they might fit students with different interests.
