Ohio Staters Inc. presents Light Up the Lake 2026 on Friday, November 20, at Browning Amphitheater next to Mirror Lake.
Refreshments and seating begin at 5:15 pm
Festivities and celebration begin at 6:00 pm.
The event will conclude with singing Carmen Ohio and lighting up Mirror Lake Hollow.
The ultimate goal is to bring the Ohio State community together, inclusive of all faculty, staff, students, and alumni. 67,000 lights represent each of the ~67,000 students that make up Ohio State on all campuses. The dynamic light display and music played throughout the event aim to be representative of all cultures and religions during the holiday season, not just centered around one holiday.
