We are pleased to announce the spring 2024 FOSAA event – Eclipse Extravaganza for Saturday, March 23, starting at 10 am.

Featuring:

  • Planetarium show about the upcoming April 8, 2024 eclipse, including how to view it safely, where to go, what to consider
  • Talk by Dr. Stephan Frank about the role of eclipses in astronomy, including the tests of General Relativity in the 1919 eclipse
  • Viewing the Sun (safely!) with the solar telescope (weather permitting)
  • Light snacks and conversation with OSU Astronomy and the Center for Astroparticle Physics
