We are pleased to announce the spring 2024 FOSAA event – Eclipse Extravaganza for Saturday, March 23, starting at 10 am.Featuring:Planetarium show about the upcoming April 8, 2024 eclipse, including how to view it safely, where to go, what to considerTalk by Dr. Stephan Frank about the role of eclipses in astronomy, including the tests of General Relativity in the 1919 eclipseViewing the Sun (safely!) with the solar telescope (weather permitting)Light snacks and conversation with OSU Astronomy and the Center for Astroparticle PhysicsRegistration is full and closed as of 3/19/2024.
