Astronomy Colloquium - David Martin
Kepler's hidden treasure: circumbinary super-Earths
Super-Earths are very common, but understanding their formation is a challenge. Binary stars are very common, but finding planets around them is more difficult. I will share my work developing new methods to tackle both of these challenges in the search for circumbinary super-Earths, and discuss the broad applications of this small niche of astrophysics.
Speaker: Dr. David Martin, OSU Astronomy; Buckeye Prize and Sagan Fellow
Zoom Information
Zoom information is sent out via email to the Astronomy Department. If you are joining from outside our department we would encourage to contact someone you know for access information.
