The Astronomical Society at The Ohio State University is primarily an undergraduate club at the university for anyone who finds astronomy interesting. Many of the Astronomy majors are active in the club as well as those from a full spectrum of majors including humanities, engineering, ag, and more. Their meetings are usually bi-weekly through the academic year. You can find out more by following their webpage or emailing email@example.com
The club has meetings where professional astronomers come to talk about their research, we have star parties on the top of the planetarium in Smith Lab. The club also visits Perkins Observatory in Delaware and has other off-campus outings. For the past 3 years, the Astronomical Society has visited the Green Bank Observatory in Green Bank, West Virginia. Below is a picture of the group loading the bus in 2019.
