Congratulations to Michael Stamatikos, who won both the 2017 Faculty Service Award (Tenure-Track) and the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award (Tenure-Track) at OSU Newark! Dr. Stamatikos is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics and the Department of Astronomy at the Newark campus, as well as a member of the Center for Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics. His service award citation noted that "Dr. Stamatikos has been a tireless advocate for the sciences and science education at Ohio State Newark through his many service and outreach" efforts. His teaching award citation describes how he is "a talented and insightful lecturer who brings creativity and humor with him to the classroom."
