Anusha Pai Asnodkar selected as NASA Space Technology Graduate Researcher
Congratulations to Anusha Pai Asnodkar on her selection as a NASA Space Technology Graduate Researcher! Anusha's proposal titled "Dual-Aperture Fiber Nulling For High Spatial and Spectral Resolution Studies of Exoplanets" was selected as part of the 2022 competition. The intent of this program is to develop "groundbreaking, high-risk/high-payoff, early stage space technology ...[to] help make science and space exploration more effective, affordable, and sustainable."
These awards provide a stipend and tuition support for an initial period of one year, and may be extended for up to four years. Anusha is the most recent recipient of the Department's David G. Prize in Astronomical Instrumentation. Her Ph.D. advisor is Assistant Professor Ji Wang.
